What is DPC
(Direct Primary Care) ?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a modern healthcare model that focuses on providing personalized, patient-centered care without the involvement of traditional insurance.
DPC practices offer more affordable and accessible healthcare directly to patients through a membership or subscription-based model.

1. What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?
DPC is a healthcare model where patients pay a monthly fee for most primary care services, without using insurance.
DPC eliminates insurance for primary care, offering more personalized care, longer visits, and a predictable monthly fee.

2. WHAT EXACTLY DO I GET WHEN I SIGN UP?
Get direct access to your personal healthcare provider via phone, text, email, and video visits. Our members are eligible for up to 20 in-office visits per year and up to 20 telehealth visits at no additional cost. Additional fees may apply if services exceed the specified limits (please contact us if you have any questions).

3. Do I still need insurance if I join a DPC practice?
DPC is not insurance. It covers primary care, but you may still need insurance for emergencies or specialist care.
Even if you join a DPC practice, it's still recommended to have health insurance. While DPC covers primary care services, it doesn't cover emergencies, hospital stays, or specialist care. Insurance ensures you're protected against more significant medical costs.

4. Are there any restrictions to joining your membership?
We do not accept Medicaid patients. If you have Medicare, you can still use it for your healthcare, but unfortunately, the membership model cannot be used in conjunction with Medicare.

5. I’m not a member. Will you see me for a sick visit?
In a Hybrid DPC model,
if you have insurance that our provider is credentialed with and prefer to use it,
we will follow the traditional healthcare model, billing your insurance for services.
However, if you have a high-deductible insurance plan, the Direct Primary Care (DPC) membership may offer a more affordable option, as it covers many primary care services for a fixed monthly fee, reducing out-of-pocket costs for routine care.

6. OFFICE HOURS AND AFTER-HOURS SUPPORT
Our standard office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, though they may vary depending on specific dates and times.
For non-emergencies outside of regular hours, we’ll try our best to assist, but kindly note that we prioritize work-life balance. We ask that after-hours calls be reserved for urgent situations, not for refills or appointment requests.
In the event of an emergency, such as chest pain, please call 911 immediately and inform us once you’ve been evaluated at the hospital.
